About the School

WHO WE ARE

The Technical College of Applied Sciences in Zrenjanin was founded in 1960. Today it is one of the leading higher education institutions, with 5 accredited programmes of the basic studies and 3 specialist programmes of professional studies, functioning in compliance with the European educational standards stated in the Bologna Declaration.

WHAT WE OFFER

The first degree of higher education – Three-year basic professional studies with 180 credits (ECTS):

1. Technological Engineering
2. Mechanical Engineering
3. Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences
4. Safety Engineering
5. Engineering Management in Crisis Conditions

After the completion of the basic professional studies, education can be continued at some of the existing specialist programmes of professional studies in our School or in other corresponding higher education institutions in the country and abroad.

The second degree of higher education – One-year specialist professional studies (following the basic studies) with (180) + 60 = (240) credits (ECTS):

1. Technological Engineering
2. Mechanical Engineering
3. Engineering Management

Professional practice in the final semester

Technical College of Applied Sciences in Zrenjanin has included professional practice in its study programmes as an important segment. Students at both basic and specialist professional studies spend the last semester at practical work in an enterprise or institution. We strive to make this practice really good, which is achieved through a careful selection of the partner organization and monitoring of students by a teacher-mentor and co-mentor from the organization. The result of the professional practice is gaining experience and collecting material for the diploma project, but it also happens that students after finishing their studies get jobs where they have performed professional practice.

COOPERATION WITH FOREIGN INSTITUTIONS

We participate in international projects having scientific, research or educational character that support student and faculty exchange, like Tempus and Erasmus. Currently, the School is a partner at one Erasmus+ projects:
